High-speed moulds for thin-walled packaging

A high-cadence mold is a tool specially designed to enable very fast production cycles, often under 5 seconds.

It is designed for the manufacture of thin plastic parts, such as thin-walled packaging. Thanks to optimized cooling circuits, high-performance materials and precise design, it guarantees maximum productivity, while maintaining consistent quality.

This type of mold is indispensable for high-volume production, particularly in the food, beverage and snack sectors.

Thin-walled packaging requires a perfectly adapted mold, because injecting material into thin cavities requires high pressure and very precise thermal control. A standard mold would not be able to achieve the required speed and finesse.

A mold dedicated to thin walls is designed to optimize rapid filling, ensure reliable ejection and preserve part integrity despite their low thickness.

It also allows us to use less plastic, while meeting strength standards.

High-speed moulds for thin-walled packaging are compatible with a wide range of thermoplastic materials. The most common are polypropylene (PP), PP PCR (post-consumer recycled plastic), PET and certain bio-based materials.
